Poem for Sensitive People
Why do you feel ashamed of your sensitivity?
Why do you consider it a weakness rather than strength?
You can observe the intricacies of the world,
You can comprehend the feelings hidden behind actions,
You possess the ability to view the unseen.
Your soft heart does not hold grudges,
Your eyes can see pain beyond appearances;
This is what makes you unique.
Your heart reflects a purity untouched by the polluted air of the world.
You are not naive; you are someone who can feel
the truth hidden within falsehood.
So why do you devalue this gift?
Why do you ignore the honor and depth
of being sensitive in a world that lacks such grace?
This world is full of deception,
A place where sincerity often loses its worth.
Your pain is sacred, your tears precious
Do not let them be a spectacle for the undeserving.
Why do you scatter your delicate emotions
In a world that treats them with such indifference?
Why do you reveal your wounds to those
Who neither heal nor understand?
